Subalpine Fir (Abies lasiocarpa)

Found in the cold middle to upper elevations of mountainous regions from Alaska to Canada, Sub Alpine firs have wild adaptations to their surroundings. While in Montana these firs caught my eye due to their bizarre formation in the serene landscape and I couldn’t help but make a pattern of them!
